Carlos Ruiz Zafón: The Prisoner of Heaven

Each next book by the author of the one and only Shadow of the Wind just gets worse. This one was the worst so far indeed. It has good moments to be sure, but the end felt rushed and totally confused, I wasn't even able to understand the point of this disappointing novel. Terrible.
